1-2 SECOND STEP: ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES

It is possible to choose some advantages (special abilities) that improve the character’s potential. However, any advantage has a cost. This cost, in points, must be paid back by selecting disadvantages (hindrances) to the same amount of points.

It is however possible to choose more disadvantages than advantages.

The number of advantages and disadvantages should be limited (3 maximum each) and should be compatible between themselves.

 

1-2-1 ADVANTAGES

Absolute direction 5 (never get lost)

Absolute timing 5 (don’t need a watch)

Acute hearing 2/+1 (2 per point that will be added to the characteristic or skill level for the resolution of an action involving this sense – Maximum +4)

Acute taste & smell 2/ +1 (2 per point that will be added to the characteristic or skill level for the resolution of an action involving this sense – Maximum +4)

Acute vision 2/+1 (2 per point that will be added to the characteristic or skill level for the resolution of an action involving this sense – Maximum +4)

Alertness 5/+1 (5 per point that will be added to the characteristic or skill level for the resolution of an action involving this sense – Maximum +3)

Ambidextry 10 (you write, shoot, either with your left or right hand or both!)

Animal empathy 5 (you know what animals feel and you can calm then or befriend them)

Combat reflexes 15 (fast reactions on the draw or counterattack)

Double jointed 5 (become Houdini)

Eidetic memory 30/60 (30 for a good photographic memory, 60 for an absolute memory including details)

Empathy 15 (limited empathy)

High pain threshold 10

Lightning calculator 5 (don’t need to be autistic though)

Mathemetical ability 10 (solving complex logical problems )

Musical ability 2/+1 (2 per point that will be added to the characteristic or skill level for the resolution of an action involving this talent – Maximum +4)

Nightvision 10 (limited nyctalopia)

Peripheral vision 15 (widened field and increased ocular activity. No eyes behind the head though)

Rapid healing 5 (slightly faster, wounds don’t close in seconds and you don’t regenerate missing parts)

Toughness 10/25 (Resistant skin 10 for –1 damage, 25 for –3 damage)

Voice 10 (A charming voice. Adds to Charisma and all skills involving speech)
